The "MAESTRO" Instructional Video Series is designed to give you an overview of important information about your new instrument and to show you the various skills you will need to develop as you learn to play. These instructional tapes and booklet are in no way intended to take the place of a Band or Orchestra Director, private teacher or method book. Our intention is to help aspiring students and other beginners to get a good start and establish a solid foundation for study. These videos can be used along with classroom studies and private lessons.
Each "MAESTRO" Instructional program will take the student through: Unpacking, assembly, instrument nomenclature, care & maintenance, posture, hand positions, breathing (for wind instruments), notes, reading music, playing the instrument, and many more topics.
Your teacher for the "MAESTRO" CLARINET Instructional is RON REYNOLDS. Ron earned his Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Dayton in 1960, where he Majored in Music Composition and Theory. His many talents include being a Musical Director, Arranger, Composer, Saxophonist, Clarinetist, Flutist a& Vocalist. He has been a Private Teaching Instructor since 1969. Ron is very active as a Musical Director for various Church Choirs and has performed in many Orchestras and Choirs throughout his career.
